General Description:

ESFJs are friendly, organized helpers who want to see the job get done. They are usually traditional in their beliefs and get along easily with many groups. ESFJs are conscientious and cooperative, honestly concerned about others’ experiences and affairs.

Summary of Careers

ESFJs are best at jobs where their friendly, organized and practical helping skills are used within traditional settings. They want to be personally involved in their service, and they want to be practical and personal. They are realistic caregivers; they don’t have much patience with theoretical approaches and detached analysis. ESFJs find careers in teaching, sales, management, care giving and personal services to be rewarding.

Reflection: I know that I’m very extraversion, however I thought I’m also judging, but apparently my judging level is only somewhat. Which the judging part did surprised me a bit, and the extraversion part is as expected. Unfortunately I’m not interested in teaching, sales, management and care giving, but I might be interested in personal services to be rewarded. So non of them are actually interested to me, but I’m surprised that teaching is in one of the many, which being a teacher is something that I will never do in my future.

Realistic                                                                                                                                   Realistic occupations frequently involve work activities that include practical, hands-on problems and solutions. They often deal with plants, animals, and real-world materials like wood, tools, and machinery. Many of the occupations require working outside, and do not involve a lot of paperwork or working closely with others.

Conventional occupations frequently involve following set procedures and routines. These occupations can include working with data and details more than with ideas. Usually there is a clear line of authority to follow.
Artistic occupations frequently involve working with forms, designs and patterns. They often require self-expression and the work can be done without following a clear set of rules.
I agree with the first two point about how realistic I am and I’m sometimes conventional. However I’m really not artistic, I have no passion, talent and interest in anything that is related to art. And I don’t like rules but I need rules to work.

Occupations that satisfy this work value offer advancement, potential for leadership, and are often considered prestigious. Corresponding needs are Advancement, Authority, Recognition and Social Status.

Occupations that satisfy this work value are results oriented and allow employees to use their strongest abilities, giving them a feeling of accomplishment. Corresponding needs are Ability Utilization and Achievement.

Occupations that satisfy this work value offer supportive management that stands behind employees. Corresponding needs are Company Policies, Supervision: Human Relations and Supervision: Technical.

All three factors above fits me perfectly well, I need recognition as energy and as one of my goal. I would love to be a leader of a small organization instead of a employee of a big one. I will remember all those who helped me, if I’m the boss and employees I will use their ability and reward them if they have done well. In general I offer support to people voluntarily, but I won’t sacrifice myself to help other, but I will offer help when needed.
Success factors
Surprisingly I found all of those factors fit me well. Overall I need better time management and I really need to take more responsibility to be able to succeed in my future life.
Overall: I think that TypeFocus can give me an accurate result of who I am and what I need to work on. However most of the advise that TypeFocus gave me aren’t that helpful, since I know most of my weaknesses and what I need to improve on. TypeFocus didn’t give me a strategy to improve it, it only tells me what do I need to improve on. In Conclusion TypeFocus is not that helpful to me, but it will be really helpful to people who doesn’t know their weaknesses.

About me~

My name is KaiOu(Kyle) Guo, I was born in Beijing, China, 1998/12/30. I have a interest in biology since I was only 4 years old, my goal was to be a scientist that time. However as I grew older I found out that if I want to learn biology I have to learn Chemistry and Physics with it, also being a scientist is not the best way to succeed, help others and earn money. Still I would love to do something related to biology, because that is where my interest lay. Also I’m a huge martial art fan, since I have glasses and my eyes are really really bad, boxing and wrestling will not be the best martial art for me, I’m learning TaiChi Chuan. However being a martial artist is not my goal, first of all I’m too old to start martial art training, second in modern world martial art lost many of its original purpose.
